Rifle Shoppe Kits & Parts

Making up a Rifle Shoppe Kit requires a fair level of skill, both in woodworking and metal finishing. Although a novice with plenty of time and dedication, could build these kits, there is a great degree of learning necessary, especially in the art of hardening steel and spring tempering.

We encourage our clients to have a go at building and offer advice when requested. You can purchase a full-scale drawing of many of the kits available to aid the build.

If building the entire kit feels beyond your capabilities, we can carry out some of the more difficult tasks. The lock of a TRS kit is probably the single most complicated part to build and harden; machining dovetails for barrel lugs and sights is another. We can undertake these if required when you are building the rest of the kit yourself.

Alternatively, you can ask us for an estimate for the making up; assembling; hardening; and finishing of your entire Rifle Shoppe Kit, to your requirement, including preparing and submitting to Proof, where necessary.

Antiques

We offer restorations, repair and re-finishing of antique firearms, (or parts thereof); we can make parts where necessary; the Browning or Blacking of barrels and other components; Lock work and Tuning; and even repairs to Indian reproductions.

Deactivations

The rules about deactivated firearms are very complicated! Earlier deactivations may be subject to different regulations than current deactivations. We are able to deactivate Section 1, 2, and 5 firearms, including any previously deactivated to earlier specifications.
